Greenbrae Classic Car Show

Updated: 16 hours ago

There is something wonderfully democratic about a classic car show.
No invitations are required.
No velvet ropes keep people apart.

On a sunny afternoon, owners and visitors gather around machines that have survived decades, each carrying stories, memories, and a little bit of history beneath the bonnet.  Some arrive with cameras. Others come with grandchildren. Many come simply to stand quietly beside a car they once owned, or wished they had owned, and revisit a different chapter of their lives.

At Greenbrae, the attraction wasn't merely the chrome or the horsepower. It was the conversations. Owners were eager to share restoration stories, explain modifications, or recall how they stumbled across a long-forgotten treasure sitting in a barn or garage.

One gentleman spent twenty years searching for the exact model he had driven as a young man. Another proudly displayed a car he had rebuilt piece by piece over a decade. Every vehicle seemed to have a story, and every owner seemed delighted to tell it.

Perhaps that is the true magic of classic cars.  Unlike modern vehicles, which often come and go without leaving much of an impression, classic cars become part of our lives. They accompany first dates, family holidays, weddings, road trips, and youthful adventures.

Long after the keys have changed hands, the memories remain.  As this new motoring corner of JK Talla begins to grow, Philip and I would love to hear your stories.  Join the Conversation  Have you ever owned a classic car?
